National Olympiad programme is coordinated by Homi Bhabha Centre for Science
Education ( HBCSE) Mumbai in following 05 stages :-
Stage I :- National Standard Examination (
NSEs) conducts the first stage of selection of students in the National
Olympiad Programme.
Stage II :- 300 Top students based on
stage I in the order of merit in each of the above subjects are selected
and they appear in Indian National Olympiad conducted by
Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education.
Stage III :- For the selected group of
students in different subjects ( based on their performance in stage II
) HBCSE conducts orientation - cum - selection camps.
Stage IV :- HBCSE conducts rigorus training
programme by selected Indian teams in theory and experiment.
