Welcome to Kendriya Vidyalaya-1, Portblair.

It is a great pleasure to inform all former students of Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1.Port Blair that we like to know whereabouts of all our prestigious students whose roots of education were laid in this holy land.

We planned to develop communication among all our former students through this AFS and wish to form an organizing body for conducting its activities.

This Association of Regional level is a Registered body – Registered under Registration of Societies – West Bengal Act XXVI of 1961(Reg.No.36868 of 2006-07).
Some of the Achievements of year 2006 are enumerated below:

Membership has increased to nearly 350 including foreign registrations and still going on.
Registration of the body under west Bengal societies act.
On 16th July 2005 official website of the Alumni was launched, we request you to log into the website, mail suggestions at – www.kenvids.org.in.
For the session 2006-08 SNEHA UPADHAYA a Kendriya Vidyalaya student was provided full free ship with English (Honors) at Bhawanipur Education Society.
In the Inter Alumni Quiz meet held at Hotel Grand Oberoi organized by North Point Alumni, our Alumni won the trophy.
Annual General Body meeting of the Association was held in KV, Fort William on 03.02.2007 to elect various subject Committees like – Academic Committee, Cultural Committee, Accounts and Funds raising Committee, Social Works Committee, Functions organizing Committee etc. Details of the Annual General body Meeting will soon be available on our website.
