Shri Ranglal Jamuda, IAS, the Honorable Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya
Sangathan, (H.Q.) Under the Ministry of HRD, Govt.of India, New Delhi,
visited Kendriya Vidyalaya no.1 on 25.10.2009. He was accompanied by Mr.
S.K.Chopdar, Educational Officer, KVS, (R.O). Kolkata .
His visit included the inauguration of the newly constructed Computer
Lab. He looked into the utilitarian aspects of the lab and conveyed some
valuable suggestions. He also went through the achievements of the
Vidyalaya over a period of years. Satisfied and impressed by the all
round infrastructure and Academic achievements, he expressed his
appreciation for the Principal and the staff of the Vidyalaya.
The Principal, D.R. Meena welcomed the Honourable Commissioner on behalf
of the staff of the Vidyalaya. M. T. Raju, (PGT- Biology) explained the
functioning of the newly inaugurated Computer Lab and the milestones
accomplished by the Vidyalaya on the Project Think Quest and other
fields. Mr. I.R. Singh, Asst. Commandant, CISF, was present at the
inauguration. |
